Sales follow-up · On-device · iPhone 15 Pro & newer

Never lose a deal to a slow follow-up again.

Record what matters. Extract what matters. Keep it where you choose.

Before You Forget turns an in-person sales or discovery conversation into a ready-to-send recap email — plus a brief of the budget, the decision-makers, the objections, and the agreed next steps. It's built on your iPhone and never uploaded, so you can walk out, hit send, and stay top of mind while the conversation is still fresh.

Why deals stall

A great sales call is only worth as much as the follow-up

The buyer is talking to several people. The rep who follows up first — with the exact budget, the real decision-maker, and the objection actually addressed — is the one who stays in the running. Hours later, working from memory, that follow-up gets slower, vaguer, and easier to put off.

Same-day beats someday

A specific recap sent while you're fresh in their mind moves the deal. A generic one three days later barely registers.

The deal details blur first

The number they floated, who actually signs off, the concern you promised to answer — those are exactly what fade after back-to-back meetings.

Recaps eat selling time

Reconstructing a tailored follow-up from memory costs 15–20 minutes you don't have between calls — so it slips, or goes out generic.

How it works

From the room to a sendable recap — in three steps

1

Record the conversation

Tap record on your iPhone during an in-person sales or discovery call — no extra device, with a visible recording state and a consent reminder.

2

Get the brief + the draft

The app extracts the budget and timeline signals, the stakeholders, the objections raised, and the next steps — and drafts a recap email you can send.

3

Send it, then file it

Edit if you like, send the follow-up, and export the brief to the CRM or notes you already use. You choose whether to keep or delete the source recording.

What's in the recap

The things that actually move a deal — pulled from what was said

Not a transcript. A structured read of the conversation, with every point grounded in something the buyer actually said.

Budget & timeline signals

The numbers and dates they mentioned, so you can scope, price, and time the next touch.

Decision-makers & stakeholders

Who has to sign off and who else is in the room — so the follow-up reaches the right people.

Objections & concerns

What gave them pause, captured so your recap answers it instead of ignoring it.

Commitments & next steps

What each side agreed to do, and by when — nothing dropped between meetings.

A ready-to-send recap

A drafted email in plain language, tailored to the call — edit and send before you've left the parking lot.

Red flags worth raising

Unconfirmed spend, a stalled sign-off, scope creep — flagged so they don't surprise you later.

Where it fits

The capture layer for your pipeline — not another vault, not another CRM

On-device by design

Recording, transcription, and analysis run on your iPhone using Apple's on-device intelligence. Your sales conversation is never uploaded to our servers — there's no cloud copy to leak, retain, or train on, because we never receive it.

Feeds the CRM you have

It doesn't replace HubSpot, Salesforce, or your notes — it fills them. Export the brief and the recap to the tools your pipeline already lives in.

Yours to keep or delete

Once the brief is built, the source recording is your call — keep it on your device or remove it. Nothing is stockpiled on a server, because it was never on one.

FAQ

Sales follow-up — questions

What does it actually produce after a sales call?

A ready-to-send recap email drafted from the conversation, plus a structured brief: budget and timeline signals, decision-makers and stakeholders, the objections raised, commitments and next steps, and any red flags. You can edit before sending.

Does this replace my CRM or sales-engagement tool?

No. Before You Forget is the capture-and-draft layer — it turns the in-person conversation into a brief and a follow-up, then you export those into the CRM or notes you already use. It doesn't send sequences or manage your pipeline.

Can it record phone calls or video meetings?

It's built for in-person, in-the-room sales and discovery conversations. iOS restricts third-party apps from recording regular phone calls, so Before You Forget focuses on the meetings happening in front of you.

Is my sales conversation private?

Yes. Recording, transcription, and analysis run entirely on your iPhone using Apple's on-device intelligence. The conversation is never uploaded to our servers, so there's no cloud copy to leak, retain, or train on.

Which iPhones does it work on?

iPhone 15 Pro and newer — it needs the A17 Pro chip for Apple's on-device intelligence. It won't run on the standard iPhone 15 or iPhone 14, because we never fall back to the cloud.

How is this different from Otter or Plaud?

Those keep your recordings in a vendor cloud and hand back a generic summary. Before You Forget processes on-device, gives you a sales-specific brief and a follow-up draft, and lets you keep or delete the source. See our Otter alternative and Plaud alternative pages.
